Founders Cassandra Troy Walker, Andrew Walker and Beau Laughlin use high-quality locally-sourced organic ingredients to create juices, mylks and naturally-flavoured coconut waters. The range includes traditional greens/roots juices and inventive health elixirs containing superfood ingredients like camu camu and chia seeds.

WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START DRINKING GREEN JUICE?
I started drinking what I then considered 'green juice' about six years ago, when I purchased my first great-quality blender. Looking back, these 'juices' were more like smoothies, with a handful of spinach or kale in each concoction. I would put everything from leafy greens, citrus, mint, veggies, avocado into the blender. The effects were undeniable. My husband Andrew and I discovered cold-pressed juice about two years after that and we've been hooked ever since.
WHAT DID YOU FIND TO BE THE SHORT- AND LONG-TERM EFFECTS?
The first thing I noticed was how much energy I had. Within a week my skin was glowing and over the span of a month I was the healthiest I'd ever been, both mentally and physically.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START CLOVER?
After years of cooking and baking for friends and family, my husband encouraged me to take a leap of faith and share my passion for juice and smoothies with our community. Then inspiration came from meeting local farmers and wanting to showcase California's incredible produce in cold-pressed juice. Now, we're inspired by the people around us whose lives have been changed, as ours have, by drinking one juice a day.
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE CLOVER JUICE IN FIVE YEARS' TIME?
The past few years have been a wild and incredible ride that we're grateful for. I'd like to see Clover continue to grow and expand nationwide, sharing the art of great tasting and good for you juice with the world.
YOUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY:
Moderation! I live for food but strive for a healthy balance. If I overindulge one day, I start the next day fresh ... with a green juice!

My Mom's spaghetti, every time.
FAVOURITE PLACES TO EAT IN LA:
I'm currently obsessed with sugarfish. I went almost nine months without raw fish during my pregnancy, so right now I just can't get enough. Gracias Madre is a staple and Beachwood Café is our neighbourhood weekend brunch ritual.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING?
I hike the canyons daily, love the balance of pilates and hot yoga as often as possible, and spend the weekends cooking and relaxing.
WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
My family, which just grew with the addition of our three-month-old son, West.
